How much does a Domain Recovery cost?

If you do not renew your domain it will become unreachable. To recover your domain and make it reachable again, you need to follow a specific procedure. Not all the extensions provide you with the recovery option and those providing it require a penalty cost to make the extensions reachable again. We recommend to renew your domain always on time, to avoid the loss of the domain name or expensive procedures to recover it.

Domains .com, .org, .net and other generic extensions
Domains with .com, .org, .net or other generic extensions are suspended from the register since the day after the expiry date. They can be recovered in 30 days after the expiry date with no penalty but as they enter the 31st day they will require a penalty up to €299,00 + VAT (in addition to the domain renewal cost) to be recovered. After 60 days + 5, from the expiry date they are available for the registration again.

Domains .it
A domain .it becomes inaccessible the day after it expires. The recovery cost is equal to the renewal cost plus a penalty of € 5 + VAT. After 30 days plus 5 from the expiry, the domain becomes available for registration again.

Domains .eu
Domains .eu must be renewed before the expiry date. They can be recovered in 30 days after the expiry date with a €29,00 + VAT penalty.

Domains .ch, Domains .fr and Domains .es
They must be renewed 30 days before the expiry date. To recover the domain after the expiration, it will be necessary to pay the renewal cost plus a penalty of € 29 + VAT. After 30 days from the expiration the domain will be available for registration again.
